The light sensor is used to detect light in the sensor's area of action. The sensor can be connected via a digital output to a microcontroller, or directly to a relay without the participation of a microcontroller. The MLG5516B photoresistor is used as a light-sensitive element. The pin interface has 3 pins. The pin designation is: GND (common contact), OUT or D0 (digital output), 5V (power output).
The output is a digital signal. A high signal level means the presence of light, a low signal means the absence of light.The sensor has no housing and is designed for concealed installation in dry heated rooms.
